Congratulations to Markie Fehrlen, of Clinton, the recipient of the Off and Running Scholarship sponsored by The Write Stuff for Kids Inc. The annual $1,500 scholarship helps DeWitt County students continue their education. Markie works with the Birth to Three program at Early Head Start. She will continue her education towards a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

​Congratulations to the 16 graduates of the Clinton Academy! This represents almost 50 percent of the 42 students who enrolled at some point during the school year. And kudos to their teachers Kate Deardorff and Denise King for their work.
